2007 Race Leaders - Erik's Spring Cup
With Erik's Spring Cup only 4 weeks away its time to start looking at the first race course of the season. The Salem Hills trail is 4.3 miles in length with less than a 70 foot change in elevation. It winds its way through sections of pine, hardwoods and open prairie. The trail has few obstacles, which makes its a very fast course.
For the Beginner, the trail is very smooth without steep ascents or gnarly descents, it will allow for confident riding.
For the higher level rider, this is a very fast paced race with sketchy cornering and virtually no recovery time.
With the weather finally on our side check HERE for the trail status.
Thanks to our main sponsor Eriks Bike Shop and MORC for doing such a great job with this event! You can pre-register for the race on the events page.
$1 from each racer will go to the Salem Hills Elementary School, with the remaining proceeds going to the Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists (MORC), for more information on MORC please visit www.morcmtb.org
We will see you there!
