Dirt Spanker Classic, Mont Du Lac Ski Area, Duluth, MN

Sun. June 22, 2007. First race at 9:00am

Dirtspanker has been labeled one of the top race courses in the Midwest. With a 5-mile loop that consists of leg burning climbs, screaming descents and rolling singletrack, it challenges every rider. This course offers something for everyone, from the first time rider to the seasoned veteran. Brought to you by Cyclists of Gitchee-Gumee (COGGS).

Shimano Kids Race

Attention all Kids! Participate in the Shimano Kids Race! Helmets are required. Register on-site only, Sunday, June 22 nd by 12:30pm. Free for all kids 3-10 years old. T-Shirts and other prizes given to each kid!

Awards

Medals will be awarded 3 places deep in each age group for all race classes. Cash payout, up to 15 places deep to Expert Male and Female Overall. See the MNSCS Guidelines for payout details

General Information

Food and drink will be for sale on race day and primitive camping is available on-site.

The course will be open for pre-riding to REGISTERED racers. The XC course is on PRIVATE PROPERTY and can ONLY be ridden on Tuesday night or on the race weekend. If you are in the area, come out and ride with the members of COGGS on the Tuesday ride.

On-site camping is available.
